Me and Audra

Wow, I haven't written on this thing in months! Ahhh! Well, here it goes... I want to share some pictures of my time with Audra, one of my closest friends. She spent the night from Saturday - Wednesday. We had so much fun! Enjoy the pics from our little "photo-shoot"! (Click the link that says "Megan and Audra" to watch)

The Best Day Ever

Okay, I know the title sounds cheesy, but Sunday, April 3rd, 2011, had to be one of the best days of my life. It was the day I got to watch "His Own" (The Stewart Family) sing at my church. You're probably wondering who these people are. Well, they are a family consisting of 6 kids who attend South Haven Baptist in Springfield, TN where my uncle is the pastor. My family had taken a trip there in 2004, and purchased one of their CD's (they now have 5!). Then, years later, I was able to purchase more, and I really fell in love with their music. You know me, if I love a certain actress or singer, I have to try to contact them. So, I was able to start emailing with Kailyn (the 4th oldest) in December. (thanks to Rachael Campbell for putting His Own videos up on YouTube, I was able to start talking to Rachael and eventually I was able to get Kailyn's email. Crazy stuff!) ANYWAY, in January, I had this idea that we surprise Pastor for his birthday on Sunday, April 3rd and invite the Stewart's to come sing! (I had been making CD's for him and he said His Own was his most favorite group). So, the day came, and I finally got to meet one of the sweetest family's on earth! (Well, technically, we got to meet them Saturday night when they came to church to practice.) It was wonderful. :) Pastor was so kind enough to take the Stewart's along with my family out to eat at Olive Garden. And, during evening service, I sat with them. It was pretty neat! I hated saying goodbye to them, but I do know that Pastor wants to have them back, and, my family wants to take a trip to see our relatives in TN, so that would be great! I believe I (including my whole family) have made life-long lasting friendships with the Stewart's.
